These are the terms for using lackees.com. In short: this is a pre-launch information and waitlist site, not a store, nothing on it is medical advice, and joining the waitlist doesn't obligate you to anything.

What this site is

Lackees is a Canadian company building a chewable lactase supplement. We're pre-launch and pre-regulatory-approval — there is no product for sale yet. This site exists to share information about lactose intolerance, collect a waitlist of interested customers, and (optionally) run a short product survey. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

The waitlist isn't a purchase or a contract of sale

Joining the waitlist reserves you a spot on a list — it isn't an order, a deposit, or a binding promise of any kind from either side. We intend to honour the founding-member terms described on the site (first access, locked founding price, a vote on the first flavour) once we launch, but the product, its price, its formulation, and its launch timing can all still change before then, including because of regulatory review.

Not medical advice

Nothing on this site — the Learn articles, the product description, the FAQs — is medical advice, and none of it is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Lactase supplements are a Natural Health Product in Canada; the product referenced on this site is pending Health Canada review and is not yet licensed for sale. Talk to a healthcare provider about your symptoms or before starting any supplement, and see our Learn articles' disclaimers for more.

Intellectual property

The Lackees name, logo, "Locky" character, and the text, images, and design on this site belong to Lackees unless otherwise credited (photo credits are listed where they apply). You're welcome to link to the site or share pages as-is; you don't have permission to republish or reuse our content, branding, or images commercially without asking first — email hello@lackees.com.

Accuracy and availability

We try to keep this site accurate and available, but as a small pre-launch team we can't guarantee it will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly up to date. Use of the site is at your own discretion, and we're not liable for decisions made based on content here beyond what Canadian law requires.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province of Ontario, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site and product change — for example, we'll rewrite this page before launching a store. We'll update the date above when we do.
